At Camping Le Canigou, our loyal guests enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere. Start your day off right by visiting the bar, which opens at 7:30 am, serving freshly baked buns and aromatic coffee. Relax, catch up on the morning news or read the paper while sipping your beverage. The restaurant opens at 4:00 pm, offering a delectable menu featuring pizzas, grill dishes, and daily specials. And don’t forget to head to the terrace, where you can enjoy free WiFi and live music every Saturday evening.
Villatents at Le Canigou
For a comfortable stay, Le Canigou offers six Villatent Nomad tents, each equipped with a shower and toilet. These spacious tents can accommodate up to six people and are strategically placed near natural waters. You can easily locate these tents on the map with the numbers 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44.
Dive into Nature
During springtime, a portion of the mountain river that winds through the campsite is cordoned off, creating a natural swimming pond with a depth of approximately 1.5 meters. Immerse yourself in the refreshing waters and revel in the beauty of nature.
Teenage Paradise
Families with teenagers will find Camping Le Canigou particularly appealing during the high season. Every year, hundreds of young people between the ages of 10 and 20 gather here, creating an ideal environment for both parents and teenagers to enjoy their holidays. Our Outdoor entertainment team organizes a variety of excursions and sports activities, including canoeing, rafting, and mountain biking. For the adventurous souls, we even have a rope climbing competition, allowing children to swing through the campsite’s trees like playful monkeys (with proper safety measures, of course). In the evenings, teenagers gather on the terrace and lounge, relishing uninterrupted fun and making lifelong memories.
Canigou Outdoor Program
Our Outdoor entertainment team doesn’t stop at just organizing exciting excursions and sports activities. The campsite also offers a daily camping program, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. With a range of activities like raft building, pub quizzes, Crazy Bingo, catapult building, Spanish nights, and more, boredom is a foreign concept at Le Canigou. As night falls, teenagers unite on the terrace and lounge at the reception, continuing their laughter-filled adventures.
